Commissioned by St. Georges County, Maryland

The Tech/Rec Beacon is an ellipsoid-shaped sculpture designed to interact with sunlight, to splash sparks of chromatic light reflections -- as constellations -- onto the shaded walls of the community center. The artwork represents the burst of energy as a creative idea is transformed into reality.
